WELCOME TO THE MDRC
MDRC was founded in 1948 and has the club callsign of VK3APC. The clubrooms are located at Turner Road in Highett, Victoria. MDRC holds regular monthly meetings as well as weekly Coffee Group discussions. The Coffee Group meets every Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:00, and is known as the “Tuesday Morning Group”. Also Sunday afternoons from 2:00 every fortnight. See below for details.
When the clubrooms are open, so is the VK3APC shack. Members and visitors are welcome to come down to the clubrooms and operate HF, VHF or UHF. Digital modes are also available on HF and UHF. MDRC Repeaters under VK3RMC can be accessed from the Club Rooms. VK3RMC is operational on D-Star and Analogue repeater systems across multiple bands with IRLP enabled on 70cm.

M&DRC Hamfest 11 May 2024
The Moorabbin & District Radio Club continues to host Victoria’s Biggest Hamfest.
In 2024 the MDRC Hamfest will be held at the Kingston City Hall 979-985 Nepean Hwy, Moorabbin.
The M&DRC Committee wishes to thank all those who attended the 2023 event including traders and visitors. It was a resounding success and we look forward to seeing you this year.
